• Architect & design, implement, and support application & desktop virtualization, and systems virtualization solutions based on Citrix, Microsoft, and VMware technologies.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain customer’s virtualization infrastructure.
• Provide and / or participate in customer presentations and input into customer proposals.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with design, configuration, implementation, and supporting of Citrix and / or VMware based application and system virtualization solutions.
• Knowledge and / or configuration of Citrix products including XenApp, XenDesktop, XenServer, Access Gateway, EdgeSight, Provisioning Services, NetScaler, and Repeater are an asset.
• Knowledge and / or configuration of VMware products including ESX 3.x, vSphere 4, View, Lab Manager, Stage Manager, Site Recovery Manager, and ThinAPP are an asset.
• Knowledge and / or configuration of Microsoft products including Terminal Services, App-V, Hyper-V, Active Directory, SCCM, and SCVMM are an asset.
• Preference for VCP (VMware Certified Professional), Citrix certifications: CCEA (Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator) or CCIA (Citrix Certified Integration Architect), MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) designation(s)
• College or University education in Electronics or Computer Science and/or over five
• (5) years of related job experience in the implementation of virtualization based solutions.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills including the ability to define and document practices and procedures consistently and accurately
• Superior time management skills with a sense of urgency to complete tasks and assignments
• Strong ability to diffuse customer situations and project a positive and confident outlook
• High level of integrity and honesty
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment with the ability to transfer / share knowledge to other team members and customers.
• Have the desire and ability to be creative and think “outside of the box” when required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle
